Paperlike - Should I buy?

11/27/2020
I am not endorsed by Paperlike. I do not get commission for this post. I just really like their product and recommend it.

There are a few products that really deserve some space on my site for anyone considering digital art/traditional art and want to find out how to make this hobby work for them. Paperlike is absolutely one of those products that changed my digital art experience. I can't recommend it enough, is it expensive, YES. Is it kind of troublesome to put on your iPad, YES. Did it trigger you that there are bubbles pinned between your brand new screen protector and the surface, YES. BUT as an artist who went from traditional to digital who cannot imagine not having my pencil touching what art I'm working on, this screen protector is ESSENTIAL.

Fingerprints & oil - BYEBYE

Slipping on the iPad glass - GONE

Nice paper texture complete with whishing sound - YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT, BABY

Also, Paperlike has a really nice application process. I was super nervous about getting this screen protector in the regular mail, but I've ordered it twice now for two different iPads and both times I've received it in perfect condition. They have a video tutorial that you follow to add the screen protector and they are pretty awesome about being good to the environment with their their products.

The screen protector is really durable - you receive two in a pack, but I've only ever used one of each size. I only order a second set because I upgraded my iPad if that tells you anything about the durability of Paperlike, it outlasted my iPad.

I would like to make mention that there's a lot that other companies can learn from Paperlike's marketing strategy. It makes me feel good about buying the product and supporting the company. They only send me relevant material and the updates were really comprehensive as I waited for my screen protector. Plus I got to know Jan the founder a little bit, he seems like a cool dude.

If you want to go check out Paperlike here's the link to their site: https://paperlike.com/ (Their site looks nice, too.)
